Crush 1,000 tons of gravel with MB Crusher

As the World of Concrete 2024 celebrated its historic 50th anniversary, Concrete Rescue also reached an historic milestone of 25 years in business. To maintain this success, Concrete Rescue purchased the MB-L160 Bucket Crusher for its durability and performance.

In just three and a half years, the company has “crushed close to 1,000 tons of gravel,” said Jim Huffman, owner of Concrete Rescue.

Located in Roanoke, Virginia, Concrete Rescue provides services such as flat work, which makes smooth, paved surfaces for sidewalks, patios, landscaping, and driveways. Working with large volumes of concrete daily, Jim was looking for a way to reuse the leftover concrete from demolition tear outs and other construction projects.

“I found that the crusher, your MB crusher, is the best equipment I’ve had to recycle the concrete,” said Jim.

“Then we take what gravel we crush and reuse it as our base,” stated Jim as he explained the easy and cost-effective process of making recycled aggregates. “It saves me from having to find a place to dump the concrete,” says Jim. MB Crusher attachments avoids customers from having to pay expensive transportation costs and landfill fees.

Jim described his experience with MB Crusher as, “It’s awesome. It’s anything having to do with gravel, concrete, making something out of something bad.”

MB Crusher also provides customers with a dedicated support team before and after the sale. “Your support been great. Now that you have a dealer close to me in Virginia, it makes it a lot easier, too,” said Jim.
