A project with a strict timeline
One of our esteemed clients, a distinguished and well-known Hydro Project Developer, has been awarded a project in a very remote location in the northern part of India, surrounded by hilly terrain where availability of aggregates was quite challenging.
The Project site is located in such a remote location with no road connectivity to mobilize equipment. The only way to shift machines is through ropeway, which also has a maximum carrying capacity of 1 ton.
At their project site, there is significant demand for crushed aggregates, specifically 20mm down to prepare the concrete.
The concrete has been used to prepare:
- retaining walls;
- partitions;
- internal concrete base;
- water tank;
- tunnel work.
It became impossible for the client to arrange 20mm down aggregate at the project site due to the non-availability of the connecting road and because of this, they were running late on their project timelines.
Which units do I use for my project?
A tough jobsite
Our esteemed customer, a loyal MB Crusher customer who already owns an MB-R800 Drum Cutter deployed in a Tunnel making project, started enquiring about Crusher Bucket and its functionality in the remotest area and its unique ability to work independently at the toughest of job sites.
During the discussion the customer has presented their project descriptions and specifically highlighted the following:
- The Project site is located at the remotest area of the hilly terrain where there is no road connectivity;
- They had already deployed a JCB JS140 excavator at their project site to undertake the necessary project work;
- Reaching the project site is only possible through Rope-way which has a maximum load-carrying capacity of 1 Ton;
- They needed precise 20mm down aggregate which they can use directly at the site;
- The Project is running behind the planned schedule due to which there is a fear of not completing the project in time and staining the reputation in the market.
Does it fit my excavator?
Working around the clock with the crusher bucket
After carefully understanding clients' requirements and aforementioned considerations, MB Crusher Team has suggested the BF60.1 Crusher Bucket with a unique solution.
It was decided that the Crusher Bucket BF60.1 will be easily dismantled before it is loaded on the Rope-way (so that the weight limit can be taken care of) and will be re-configured as soon as the Crusher Bucket reaches the project site.
The customer placed the order for BF60 which will be mounted on JCB JS140 and as committed, the MB team has dismantled the machine and supported the customer to shift the machine to their project site. The service Engineer was deputed and the machine was assembled at the site and proper installation and training were done.
As of today, the machine is running for approx. 20 hours per day to satisfy their need for 20mm down aggregate at their project site.
This only happened as the Customer found the MB Crusher as a Perfect Solution Provider for their remotest and challenging job site.
