A Road development project at 14500 feet above sea level
A portion of the project (12 km) was located at a very high altitude of 14500 feet from Sea Level, with very minimum access.
The shortest distance of the crusher site from the road project site was approximately 45 km.
Lack aggregates availability at site and challenging weather condition
Many challenges surrounded this project:
✘ The area was not connected. Plying vehicles on a wet road was about impossible.
✘ Unavailability of aggregate in that remote place, during the time of snow and rain which is there for the major portion of the year.
✘ During the dry time, the transportation cost was coming very high as there was no good approach road.
Working in toughest environmental/geological conditions with MB Crusher at ease
Before participating in this prestigious project, the customer had successfully met their aggregates requirement with the help of MB Crusher Bucket BF 90.3 for their road project of 8kms, thus they realised that they had an upper edge with MB’s technology which is designed specifically to perform under toughest of environmental/geological conditions.
They started bidding for the project and eventually won the tender to undertake this road construction project.
On site Crushing of aggregates with BF90 resulted in timely project completion
They started crushing hill rock and river rock directly at the site and suddenly:
✔ Eliminated their dependency on third party aggregate suppliers.
✔ Saved on the transportation cost.
Upon seeing the results in the previous project, they had decided to purchase 2 crusher buckets BF90.3 for this project. On the back of their purchase decision towards MB, they were able to successfully meet their GSB 63mm down and WMM 40mm down requirements with the help of the MB crusher bucket and were able to complete the project ahead of the anticipated deadline.
