How to handle demolition waste with MB Crusher
Companies operating in the demolition, redevelopment and general construction sector face a number of significant waste management challenges. These challenges include the need to crush and sort debris on sites that are often characterised by poor accessibility and limited size, as well as the complex operation of moving vehicles to and from such sites. In addition, there is the transport and disposal of materials in landfills, all while trying to contain dust, noise and harmful emissions.
Each step of the process must also comply with strict environmental regulations in order to protect the surrounding ecosystem.
But managing all demolition material easily, quickly and directly on site is now possible with the MB Crusher buckets.
I would like to know more
All demolition waste materials can be crushed, sorted, and reused directly on the construction site with:
- One MB Crusher equipment;
- Zero transport and waste disposal costs;
- Obtaining excellent material to reuse or sell.
But now let's see how some customers have used MB Crusher buckets to reduce demolition waste and give new life to old materials.
CONCRETE
In Latvia, one of the first models released of the BF90.3 is still used today to recycle demolition waste material. The company initially accumulated the C&D waste directly in their yard, but as a result the amount of concrete accumulated became larger and larger. At this point the options were:
- Continue to accumulate the material by taking away space for other activities
- Pay for transport and disposal.
- Find a way to recycle the material on your own.
The customer chose to recycle the waste material directly in his yard with the BF90.3 bucket crusher. In this way he saved space, time and money... and even made money by reselling the recycled material!

REBAR
It is known that both concrete and reinforcement are infinitely recyclable materials, but it is not immediately obvious that their recycling is a profitable and fast process. But it is with the MB Crusher bucket, which makes it possible to quickly separate the concrete part from the rebar. This operation is not always easy when using conventional crushers, as the iron can cut and consequently damage the conveyor belt. It is also possible to install the 24 V iron separator in the MB Crusher bucket, as this customer from Lithuania did. An optional accessory that allows the iron to be easily sorted and recovered.
Achieving the following advantages:
- Safety for the operator as he performs this operation directly from the operating machine;
- Reduced disposal costs;
- Easy and quick work, where the material freed from the iron can be immediately reused on site while the iron is resold.
My construction site also has these problems
BRICKS
Working with waste materials can be complicated. Materials such as bricks and plasters in particular are very delicate. They are heavy, difficult to transport and take up a lot of space. So why not recycle them? The answer is easier than you think.
One of our Slovakian customers had a huge accumulation of brick waste that was starting to become unmanageable. He thought about having it transported and disposed of, but the cost was astronomical. So he thought of recycling them. But how? With the MB Crusher.
In particular with the MB-L200, a bucket made with the same materials and technology as the entire MB Crusher bucket range, only designed for specific needs when working with loaders, skid steer loaders and backhoe loaders. In this case it was installed on a JCB 4cx backhoe loader and turned the site into a real recycling center, reducing the bricks into smaller pieces. This process has allowed our customer to obtain high quality crushed material, which can be used as aggregate for concrete production or for paving
