Sifting on the Moon
A VERY PRECISE REQUIREMENT
One of our esteemed clients is well-known in the Mining and Infra space in the Southern part of India and has numerous Coal Mines which supply coal to power plants in the region. They needed to crush approximately 2 lakh tons of the material with precise output of 100mm.
QUESTIONING THE OLDER METHODS
They were using a surface miner to crush the coal and supply 100mm size crushed coal to the power plant. But they were unable to use surface miner equipment in an efficient manner as they needed to crush the material with precise output.
They were also considering a static and/or track mounted crusher but there were some key parameters which were creating a hindrance in their procurement decision. In particular:
- upfront capex requirement;
- lack of movement;
- high cost of operations.
A BRILLIANT SOLUTION
They realised that they needed a new and innovative solution for crushing the material from 250mm to 100mm. They came across MB Crusher’s website and immediately raised an enquiry for MB’s Shaft Screener the latest “gem” in MB Crusher’s product portfolio. The MB-HDS is designed with a constructive approach towards:
✓ reducing waste
✓ increasing the profitability of the construction site
✓ minimizing their operational costs
✓ meeting their output requirements.
The MB Crusher Shaft Screener bucket is an hydraulic attachment for excavators, wheel loader or skid steers, transforming the machine it is mounted on in a high-performance mobile crusher or screener.
SOME OF THE ADVANTAGES
In the shaft screener MB-HDS320, customer saw the following benefits:
1. Easy installation on an excavator and flexibility in movement everywhere within the mine
2. Low Owning & Operating Cost
3. One operator is enough to run the crusher and the base machine
4. Consistent Productivity
The Shaft Screener with RM mixer kit successfully reached the site and was successfully installed. Since the day of installation till date, they are satisfied with the product as they are able to meet their daily output requirement (50-60 tonnes/Hr).
