What is so special about the number 3?
Three is the number of perfection, of completion. Three is the number of years that still will take to finish the Micheville Cultural Center. Three is also the number of MB crusher units working to limit the environmental impact on this project.
Val d'Alzette, a northern territory bordering Luxembourg, has been labelled "Ecocity", due to the fact that it is a place of experimentation. A place that reconciles the challenges of sustainable construction and economic development.
Part of the majestic Alzette-Belval development project there is the valorization of the brownfield of Micheville. A former industrial wasteland that once upon a time represented the largest iron and steel plant in Luxembourg. Here the MB Crusher bucket BF120.4 and the BF90.3 teamed up with an MB screening bucket MB-S18 to carry out the requalification of all the material from demolition and excavation.
The units working side-by-side created the catalyst for a green economy, limiting the environmental impact by avoiding landfill and material transportation.
Space is not a problem here, the site is huge but the peculiarity of the project implicated flexibility, and what better than an MB attachment could serve this need. Mb Crusher units move along with the excavator, there is no need for extra fuel, the material is processed directly on situ, all elements compatible with the framework of this project.
The Micheville site will eventually host about 1850 housing units, and several public facilities one of which the Micheville Cultural Center. It also represents the priority of the entire project as the tool of the mission of ‘’ making culture a driving force for the development of the territory’’. An ambitious goal part of a broader program and we are so proud to be part of it.
Well, it is the case to say: "Build it and they will come."
