Swedish companies have chosen MB Crusher bucket as easiest and most environmental choice

Arne Åkesson has told us how they attached a BF90.3 to their HITACHI Zaxis 290 to reduce the concrete resulting from industrial and residential demolition.

After a demolition, they used to send the concrete to landfill and pay a fee of 150-200 kroner/ton. The cost was high and had a strong impact on the total cost of the job as on top of the fee there were also the transportation costs to be added and then the purchasing of sub-base material for the construction project they had.

Why did they choose the MB Crusher bucket instead of using traditional crushing methods?

 ‘’Because we were concerned about the environment, you shouldn't be obliged to remove the material from where you are demolishing it, to some other place, this way you can keep it and use it in the same place. Keep the environmental damage to a minimum.’’ said Arne Åkesson

Olof Sandström works for TKW Trading from Järfälla and deals with the several thousand kilometres of forest roads that need to be renovated they choose MB Crusher as it is an easy process.

They attached a BF90.3 to their Caterpillar 320 to crush down debris and reinforced concrete that they receive from demolitions.

They used to rent out machines or pay other companies to do the crushing, but they realised that there was a market to be exploited and owning the MB Crusher bucket is much cheaper than hiring one, even if is not used every day!

Why did they choose to use a crushing bucket instead of a larger crushing plant, or other alternatives?

'' it's an excavator tool, and you don't need a crushing licence. [..]  we can treat the material on site, we get a new gravel material that can be laid out directly, it also crushes armed concrete'' said Olof.
