‘’It’s nice to have a jaw option because I was able to do different types of material’’
Winnipeg, Manitoba: when Danny Neufeld, President of DJN Services and Excavating Ltd., stepped into Bauma 2019 in Germany, little did he know his company’s workflow was about to get a major upgrade with the use of a Jaw Crusher BF120.4 which allowed him to process debris direcly on-site, save time and money in transportation and get ready to use aggregate at cost zero.
Turn debris into aggregate with MB Jaw Crushers!
Getting a CRUSH on MB: ‘’You couldn’t miss it!’’
Danny first discovered MB Crusher products at Bauma 2019 in Germany, where he had the chance to witness the attachments in action.
What impressed him most—beyond MB Crusher providing live demonstrations of their crushing and screening attachments—was the thoughtfully designed and well-organized booths, along with the approachable and knowledgeable staff.
“ You couldn't miss it! With three booths spread out amongst the show and great personnel, very friendly service. The fact that they didn't just have products in a booth, they had equipment that they were utilizing. And actually crushing, sorting, screening of different materials at the show made it really impactful to watch firsthand what these pieces of equipment could do, as opposed to just seeing a shiny piece of metal on a floor.’’

‘’With a jaw option I was able to do different types material’’
DJN Services crushes and recycle debris directly on-site, saving the time and cost of hauling it all away. At the event, Danny jumped at the chance to buy the BF120.4 Bucket Crusher, custom-fitted for his Case CX350D excavator, and added an iron separator to it. With these tools, separating metals and processing materials became a breeze.
‘It was nice to have jaw option because it was able to do different types of materials. It was nice that we could easily, with a few shims, adding or subtracting, turn it into different size products where, you know, three quarter, two inch, four inch, whatever. So if the need was to have some bulkier stuff, pull the shims out and make some bigger product. You lay that down. If you want to put some smaller stuff down on top of for capping, add some shims and make some three quarter, put it back on top, track pack it. You've got, you know, nice temporary road base for new construction sites.
Danny calls the portability of the Bucket Crusher BF120.4 a game-changer. No more extra trips for machinery; the bucket and the excavator traveled together on the same truck, ready to roll at any jobsite. And the versatility? It crushes materials down to sizes ranging from ¾ inch to 4 inches, right on location, it only takes to add or remove shims to adjust the jaws.
Do you need to crush materials for your next project?
Slashing the costs associated with hauling debris off-site
Danny sees massive potential in MB Crusher’s tools to help cut trucking pollution and streamline operations. The jaw crusher allows to ’’cut down dramatically the trucking required to remove and to bring back materials. There are so many more efficient ways and more economical ways of utilising the materials that we already have onsite instead of just filling the landfills’’
DJN Services is crushing it (literally and figuratively) with MB Crusher, and they can nothing but encourage workers to explore more economical and sustainable ways of working, starting with MB's innovative attachments.
